The Adventures of Starry, the Brave Sturgeon e-book developed by IAD

September 30, 2020in 2020 0 Likes
The International Association for Danube Research (IAD), Austria and the Institute for Integral Development and Environment (ICRO), Slovenia, have prepared an e-book and a colouring book addressed to children of all ages.

Entitled “The Adventures of Starry, the Brave Sturgeon”, the book highlights the adventures of a little sturgeon and the challenges he faces in his natural habitats, the river and the sea. We hope that, by presenting the life in the aquatic environment through the eyes of its inhabitants, he will succeed to raise awareness on the need to preserve the rivers and the aquatic biodiversity. For the very little readers, colouring books were also prepared.

The materials are posted for free download on the IAD website, and they are available in English, German, Bulgarian, Croatian, Hungarian, Romanian, Serbian and Ukrainian.  Slovakian and Slovenian versions will follow soon.
