New brochure on drinking water quality: from source to tap

December 10, 2021in 2021 0 Likes

The overarching goal of PA4 is to promote conscious and efficient water consumption and a water-saving culture for civil and industrial consumers. It also aims to raise public awareness of the environmentally friendly, economical, efficient and safe use of water and to increase public awareness of the environment through social media, information materials and targeted guidance documents.
EUSDR PA4 places great emphasis on the protection of water resources and the provision of drinking water in accordance with the relevant EU regulations, the Drinking Water Directive (DWD). The updated Drinking Water Directive, as proposed in its revision, promotes water protection and the reduction of pollution from source to tap.
The updated DWD has been in force since January 2021 and it has been expanded with a number of new elements.

The short publication of EUSDR PA4in 2021, which presents the new elements of the Drinking Water Directive, has been developed along the above objectives. Please see the leaflet here: Drinking_water_quality_ONLINE (1)
