International conference – Effective Utilization of Water Resources in the conditions of climate change (Drought and Water Scarcity) – took place on 17/18 May 2016 in Hotel Falkensteiner, Bratislava, Slovakia. The conference under the auspices of the Minister of Environment SR and the European Union Strategy for the Danube Region, Priority Area 4 was organised by the Water Research Institute.
