The EUSDR Implementation Report 2019 is the second comprehensive EUSDR Implementation Report published by the Danube Strategy Point, following the 2016-2018 edition. It focuses on EUSDR activities and key priorities on Strategy and Priority Area level throughout 2019. Special focus is put on

• The revision of the EUSDR Action Plan
• EUSDR Embedding
• EUSDR Monitoring & Evaluation
• EUSDR Communication activities and
• EUSDR Capacity Building

You will also find the 2019 activities of each Priority Area described in a concise summary of one to two pages per Priority Area, as well as conclusions on the current major challenges within the Danube Region Strategy and possible routes of action to tackle these challenges.

In addition Annex 1 to the report gives an overview of the Priority Areas’ status of achievement of EUSDR targets and actions as reported by Priority Area Coordinators to the Danube Transnational Programme for 2019. This overview refers to the actions and targets defined in the 2010 EUSDR Action Plan. Progress in achieving the actions and targets of the revised EUSDR Action Plan (2020) will first be viewed in the following EUSDR Implementation Report 2020-2021.
