TRILATERAL MEETING, 27.02.2018, BRATISLAVA

 

Trilateral meeting of the Priority Area 4 coordination teams from Hungary and Slovakia and ICPDR took place on 27 February 2018 at the Water Research Institute, Bratislava.

The participants, except of administration-financial issues of current DTP project focused on coordination PA4, concentrated on planning the activities on the year 2018. Among others, there are planned following events/actions: workshop focused on implementation of Article 4.7 WFD;  workshop, report and brochure  on  cooperation with other macro-regional strategies; workshop on  water and agriculture sectors dialogue & cooperation; support of sub-basin issues and urban waste water treatment and cooperation with non-EU countries. PA4 will facilitate the flagship projects implementation – JoinTisza and DanubeSediment as well it will prolong supporting the new projects generation. The information on projects submitted within the 3rd INTERREG Central Europe call was provided: DEEPWATER, WETLANDMONITOR, Trimonitor, EARTH, Plastic Cup as well as DTP 2nd call: SIMONA, Danube Floodplain, Measures, DAREFFORT. The update on other projects was discussed.

The participants really welcomed productive and friendly atmosphere of the meeting.
