BULAQUA CONFERENCE-WASTE WATER ISSUES

The Bulgarian Water Association organized its 10th international conference on water on 27 – 28 March 2018, in the Inter Expo Center in Sofia, Bulgaria. The conference was aiming to find innovative solutions and financial strategies presenting investment challenges for the urban waste water sector.

A special section was dedicated to experirences and ongoing challenges in the Danube region, where Zsuzsanna Kocsis-Kupper, the representative of EUSDR PA4 Water Quality provided a presentation on funding opportunities. Beside the EUSDR presentation the experts of the World Bank (Orlin Dikov), the EU’s Joint Research Centre  (Alberto Pictocchi) and the Hungarian Water Cluster (Károly Kovács) provided information and held a panel discussion at the event.
