22nd Steering Group meeting held on 19 October 2021

The 22nd Steering Group meeting of Priority Area 4  of the European Union Strategy for the Danube Region was held on 19 October 2021 in a virtual format.

The objective of the meeting was (1) to provide information on recent activities of EUSDR PA4 -PA5, ICPDR, ICSRB, EU, DSP,  Carpathian Convention, Global Water Partnership , (2) to introduce results of starting and ongoing projects in relation to the PA4 Action Plan, (3) to discuss financial possibilities in the current and upcoming programming periods and (4) to share ideas on new project ideas in order that partners be found from a wide range of Danube countries.

The meeting was hosted by PA4 HU with assistance provided by DSP for the virtual platform. 34 participants were present at the meeting: representatives from Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Romania, Serbia and Slovakia participated as well as delegates of the European Commission, the DSP, EUSDR Priority Area 5 (environmental risks), the ICPDR, the Sava Commission (ISRBC), Carpathian Convention, Global Water Partnership, WWF.
