CELEBRATING 5 YEAR OF THE EUSDR
The ’water quality’ priority area organised its 12th Steering Group meeting on the 1st December 2016 in Budapest in the premises of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
In the frame of the event the representatives of international organisations working in the field of water management such as the International Commission for the Danube River (ICPDR), the Sava Commission as well as the Joint Research Centre and Carpathian Convention introduced their ongoing activities and shared their ideas and thoughts on possible joint activities.
With the cooperation of the Danube Transnational Programme representative a pilot activity was organised aiming at outlining the priority list of topics of the future Seed Money Facility programme.
Tour the table was also held to investigate on the countries thoughts and needs on possible project ideas and their expectations from EUSDR. Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Serbia and Slovakia shared their suggestions in relation to the possible future cooperation needs and also appreciated the achievements reached in the last five years of the EUSDR.
Having the Danube Strategy Cooperation entered to its 5th year the participants of the 12th Steering Group also celebrated jointly the mutual achievements and the good spirit of the common work.
