We are pleased to announce that our final project event on Transnational Cooperation for Sediment Management in the Danube will take on November 19, 2019 at the BME University in Budapest, Hungary.

 

The international event will showcase the highlights of our project! For example, we will present the first sediment balance of the Danube and discuss the impacts of erosion and sedimentation. We will also present a collection of good practice measures to improve the sediment regime and further recommendations for policy-makers.  

 

All stakeholders working in sediment-related fields such as hydropower, navigation, nature protection, water administration and research are invited to join our event! The event will take place in English. We look forward to a lively discussion with stakeholders from throughout the Danube River Basin!
